Playlist - Joscho Stephan Trio

For the past few years, I've been sharing videos with my trio on YouTube, featuring tracks recorded at the GypsyGuitarAcademy. With this album, my vision of creating a "best of" collection came alive by diving deep into the existing material. What I love most about these pieces is their spontaneity and freshness. Sometimes, we chose the tracks we were going to play on the day we recorded them, or we revisited some older material. Even though these recordings were never intended for release, the result feels incredibly harmonious - thanks to my amazing band mates Sven Jungbeck on rhythm guitar and Volker Kamp on double bass, along with Olli Soikkeli as a guest on "Sandu". I hope you enjoy listening to this playlist as much as we enjoyed creating it!
